Norsk Høstfest actively seeks vendors who have demonstrated a history of producing high quality, Nordic-themed products to participate at the festival. Norsk Høstfest selects vendors by an invitation-only basis. All items sold must be in the character and spirit of Norsk Høstfest and be representative of the Nordic theme. All work must be handcrafted by the Exhibitor or approved in advance by the Viking Market Coordinator. All other products must meet the Scandinavian theme criteria.
SALES & TAX
Vendors are responsible for all sales transactions and must bring their own cash box/credit card system. Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying 5.5% North Dakota State Sales Tax. To apply for a North Dakota Sales & Use Permit, please visit: https://apps.nd.gov/tax/tap/_/.

Craftsmanship and related products must be high quality and have an authentic Scandinavian connection. It also must be artist's own work. Work that falls below quality standards, or work not representative of Scandinavia shall be removed at the discretion of the Viking Market Committee.
NORDIC THEME & COSTUME
Exhibitors and workers in the Viking Market booths are encouraged to be in Nordic costume. Bunads and Viking clothing are preferable. A Norwegian sweater or a Norsk Høstfest apron is acceptable. Aprons are available for purchase at the official Norsk Høstfest Souvenir Shops.
SETUP & DISMANTLING
Setup is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28. All booths must be set up and ready to begin operation by 9 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28. The Viking Market will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday-Saturday. Booths must be staffed at all times. Dismantling begins at 8 p.m. after closing Saturday, Oct. 1. Booths cannot tear down before 8 p.m. Saturday.
ATTENTION: The Høstfest Ticket Office sells General Admission tickets until 7 p.m. each evening, including Saturday. Saturday evening ticket buyers are entitled to the same experience and value as those patrons purchasing other festival nights. Norsk Høstfest has received numerous complaints that booths are tearing down before the advertised 8 p.m. closing time. ALL BOOTHS ARE REQUIRED TO REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 8 P.M. Booths who close before 8 p.m. will be reported to the Viking Market Coordinator which may result in a forfeit of future participation. Dismantling begins at 8 p.m., Saturday, October 1.

Norsk Høstfest's logo is a registered trademark. Exhibitors desiring to make use of the Norsk Høstfest name and logo MUST gain permission from and enter into a signed license agreement with the Norsk Høstfest Association before using.
