The Korsliens

This popular family band has found a niche at Høstfest - right in their hometown!
The Korslien's started out jamming in their family band room in the basement of their home. The boys' dad, Vern(1952-2007), played in various bands while the boys were growing up and their interest in music began at a very early age.
Johan preferred the guitar, Jordan the piano and Jacob loved the drums. Vern then had to teach himself how to play the rhythm guitar and the bass guitar.
In a few years they beagn to play in public and became a very popular local band. They have performed at the North Dakota State Fair, Dickinson Mardi Gras, Motor Magic Car Show, Devils Run Car Show and the Williston Sport Show.
One of the biggest highlights of the Korsliens' music career is the Norsk Høstfest. Since their first show in 1999 they have become a very popular act, bringing in capacity crowds. 2007 marks the Korsliens' 9th year at the world famous Scandinavian event.
The Korsliens play Rock 'n Roll of the 50's, 60's and 70's. They also specialize in Classic Country of the 40's, 50's and 60's.
The Korsliens have 2 CD's. released in 2002, "Korsliens" became a festival favorite. In 2005 they recorded "Twice", and will be available at the Norsk Høstfest as well.
Young or old, you are sure to enjoy their show, perfoming at 12 and 5 PM each day in Reykjavik Hall.
