Norsk Høstfest, North America’s largest Scandinavian Festival, has Scandinavian tradition on full display. From Nordic entertainment to culinary options, guests will truly have a cultural experience. Visit with artisans showcasing ancient traditions or take a walk back in time at Viking Village. No matter where you may roam during Høstfest, one thing is for sure - it will be a Nordic adventure!
Høstfest begins on Tuesday night with the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame Honoree Banquet and RV Pre-Party and will officially open festival doors on Wednesday, Sept. 26-29, 2018, with full days of the festival.
Festival doors open at 7:30 am every morning with breakfast and hot coffee served in the sidewalk cafes. Free entertainment, activities and shopping run from 9 am to 8 pm daily.
Stick around late in the evening to dance the night away to live music at the free nightly dances, courtesy of Cognizant. Dances begin at 8 pm and run until midnight.
Bring The Kids!
Parents - bring your children to Høstfest and let them learn all there is to know about Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Norway and Sweden. From educational centers such as Viking Village, your children will be immersed in Nordic culture. Kids and adults alike will be entertained by Darci Lynne's ventriloquism Great Hall show (tickets required), while roaming Scandinavian creatures will captivate anyone's imagination. Free general admission for kids 12 and younger and teenagers are only $10. Kids also may be interested in enrolling in Scandinavian Youth Camp, held the weekend prior to Høstfest.
