Miss Norsk Høstfest is an excellent opportunity to meet new friends while celebrating your Scandinavian heritage.
Candidates must meet specific qualifications in order to be considered for the Miss Norsk Høstfest title. The Selection Committee will conduct the candidate pageant on August 12, 2017 at the North Dakota State Fair Center during the Miss Minot Scholarship Pageant. Miss Norsk Høstfest judges will be looking for someone with a friendly personality who is eager to meet the public (particularly Norsk Høstfest patrons), an articulate speaker willing to give interviews, and interested in Scandinavian heritage. Miss Norsk Høstfest candidates will be required to compete in all Scholarship Pageant qualifying rounds (interview/formal wear/swimsuit and talent). Please note: a talent can be any skill or natural aptitude the candidate possesses. Formal wear is based purely on poise, not the dress itself; swimsuit can be a one piece or a two piece. Please refer to the Miss Minot Scholarship Pageant website (www.missminot.com) for more information on requirements in each specific category.

The Miss Norsk Høstfest title winner will receive a scholarship, a spot in the Miss North Dakota pageant, gifts from Laila courtesy of Geir Ness, Troentorp Swedish clogs, VIP tickets to all Great Hall shows and the ultimate award - the crown & title of Miss Norsk Høstfest 2017!

If this sound like you, please read through the Miss Norsk Høstfest qualifications and complete the Miss Minot Scholarship Pageant application packet located on their webpage www.missminot.com.
