Food Concessionaire Booth
Norsk Høstfest will be carefully curating the best food concessionaire booths serving up authentic Scandinavian cuisine representing the five Nordic nations. Food participants must have either a health department permit from their restaurant or a temporary food establishment permit. Insurance and food protection certificates are also required. To take part in one of the greatest and most highly anticipated Festivals to take place in the upper Midwest, fill out the form today! Unique culturally relevant products will also be considered to be sold at Norsk Høstfest.
Food Concessionaire Booths involve the sales of foods in concession form. Sales are subject to commission.

Vendors must have an executed Vendor Application form with paid booth space fee for participation. Applications will be considered on a juried basis. Notification of acceptance will be mailed/emailed by June 1. If your application is not accepted, the deposit will be refunded.
BOOTH & FEES
Booth structures are in the following sizes:
8 x 10 – $320 deposit
8 x 15 – $475 deposit
8 x 20 – $640 deposit
Booths located along a wall will have an 8’ high back drape and 4’ high side drapes. Electricity will be provided upon request with the application. Assigned booth spaces are not transferable and may not be shared. Concessionaire may not change spaces unless authorized by the Nordic Content Coordinator.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The Vendor Market will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday-Saturday. Booths must be staffed at all times. All booths are required to remain open until 8 p.m. Food booths located in Stockholm Hall are required to remain open until 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday night.
SETUP & DISMANTLING
Setup is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29. All booths must be set up and ready to begin operation by 9 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 30. Dismantling begins at 8:01 p.m. after closing Saturday, October 2. Booths cannot tear down before 8 p.m. Saturday. Booths tearing down early will be reported to the Nordic Content Coordinator and may jeopardize future participation.
FOOD SAFETY TRAINING
All persons working in booths who are serving food will require proof of certification of the completion and passing of the temporary food safety training conducted by First District Health Unit. Certification is good for three years. Classes are readily available throughout the year at First District Health Unit Conference Center (801 11th Ave SW, Minot, ND) and online. Class times & online training can be found at http://bit.ly/FoodSafety18 A special Norsk Høstfest class session will be scheduled the week of the festival located on the Skien Mezzanine. Food operation will not be permitted if the training is not completed. Contact Nordic Content Coordinator details regarding the special class session.
SALES & TAX
Concessionaire is responsible for all sales transactions and must bring their own cash box/credit card system. Concessionaire is responsible for collecting and paying 5.5% North Dakota sales tax.
