Norsk Høstfest will be carefully selecting authentic Scandinavian Artisans with the mastery of traditional Nordic folk art discipline in knifemaking, rosemaling, weaving, woodworking or other Nordic artistic expressions. Artisans must be recognized as a master practitioner or educator in the Nordic folk arts or have been awarded for his/her work, I.e. Vesterheim Gold Medal.
Artisan’s requirements upon selection are that their booth will include demonstrations of their craft creating an interactive, engaging, and educational experience. To take part in one of the greatest and most highly anticipated Festivals to take place in the upper Midwest, fill out the form today! Unique culturally relevant products will also be considered to be sold at Norsk Høstfest.

Artisans must have an executed Artisan Application for participation. Applications will be considered on a juried basis. Notification of acceptance will be mailed/emailed by June 1.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The Vendor Market will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday-Saturday. Booths must be staffed at all times. All booths are required to remain open until 8 p.m. Food booths located in Stockholm Hall are required to remain open until 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday night.
SETUP & DISMANTLING
Setup is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29. All booths must be set up and ready to begin operation by 9 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 30. Dismantling begins at 8:01 p.m. after closing Saturday, October 2. Booths cannot tear down before 8 p.m. Saturday. Booths tearing down early will be reported to the Nordic Content Coordinator and may jeopardize future participation.
SALES & TAX
Artisan is responsible for all sales transactions and must bring their own cash box/credit card system. Artisan is responsible for collecting and paying 5.5% North Dakota sales tax.
