Jerry Schlag is an accordionist and started on the accordion at the age of ten. He has been playing music for dances and shows since the late 1950s when he started with his father’s orchestra.
He has performed at night clubs throughout North Dakota, thrashing shows, Art in the Park, Frozen Finger Festival, Norsk Hostfest, German Festival in Fargo, Wells County Fair, North Dakota State Fair, Sakura’s Japanese Restaurant in Minot, nursing and retirement homes, Amtrack, Four Bears Casino, and so much more!
In 2006 Jerry was inducted into the Dakota Music Association Hall of Fame in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He has recorded seven CDs on his own. KXMC-TV have featured him as “Someone You Should Know.”
