2026 Norsk Høstfest
September 23-26
Norsk Høstfest, North America’s largest Scandinavian festival, is an annual celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Nordic countries, including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
The festival features a variety of traditional activities, including authentic Nordic food, music and dance performances, artisan crafts, and hands-on cultural experiences. Held at the North Dakota State Fair Grounds in Minot, North Dakota, the festival will take place from September 24th to 27th, 2025.
Festival Location & Directions

- Parking: Free parking is available on east side via County Road 19 (27th St SE); shuttles are available to the doors.
- Public Transit: Buses by Minot City Transit runs hourly from 8AM to midnight; $5 all-day ticket

Student Tickets
Students must present a valid high school or college ID to be eligible for a $10 discount on a Great Hall ticket or General Admission festival ticket.
These offers are not available online. Tickets can be purchased in advanced at the Norsk Hostfest office, or day of the event at the State Fair box office.
Military Discount
Military Day is Saturday, Sept. 27. Active Military members that present a valid active-duty ID will be eligible for a free General Admission festival ticket.
Active Duty Military can also purchase a ticket for any of the five Great Hall concerts for $25, which includes admission to the festival.
Additionally, all veterans receive $10 off any General Admission.
