Chester “Chet” Reiten, the founder of Norsk Høstfest, had a profound influence on his city, state, and country. He was deeply rooted in his Norwegian-American heritage and was passionate about his community and culture.

Since it’s beginning in 1978 the festival has been able to grow and receive international recognition. The Friends of Chester Donor Program continues his legacy by supporting the festival’s future for generations to come.
