Norsk Høstfest Board of Directors Renews Commitment to Its 2024 Scandinavian Festival
MINOT, N.D. – The Norsk Høstfest Board of Directors today confirmed the 2024 festival will proceed as planned and under its own management. The board also thanked EPIC Events for managing the 2022 and 2023 Norsk Høstfest. This year’s festival will take place Sept. 25 – 28 at the North Dakota State Fair Center.
“Our board of directors had an opportunity to step back and reevaluate the importance of Høstfest to our community and region, and we are excited to take the lead in management of Høstfest 2024,” said John Mackner, board president. “We are totally committed to this annual celebration of Scandinavian heritage and culture, and we are steadfast in our belief the 2024 festival can be the best event ever. We also want to acknowledge the critical role of our sponsors, donors, vendors and volunteers. We greatly appreciate their shared commitment and continued
support.”North America’s largest Scandinavian festival, Norsk Høstfest draws about 25,000 visitors to Minot from the surrounding region and across the country over the course of the annual four-day event. Norsk Høstfest is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that celebrates, preserves, and deepens the impact of Scandinavian culture and heritage in the social fabric and economy of the Minot region. The festival features world-class entertainment, authentic Scandinavian cuisine, Scandinavian culture on display and handcrafted Norsk merchandise.
