Norsk Høstfest Association requires Miss Norsk Høstfest scholarship recipients to be enrolled students in any college of choice and in good academic standing. Miss Norsk Høstfest scholarship recipients must also fulfill their Miss Norsk Høstfest duties before the scholarship will be released. Those duties include: attending Norsk Høstfest (2022), and be able to attend other key events, TBD.
Scholarships are paid out in one payment (usually the first enrolled semester after crowning). Payment is issued payable to the college of choice. To receive payment, recipient must provide proof of enrollment for the upcoming semester. Proof can include written letter from the school or a copy of the upcoming semester classes with clear proof of student name and student ID number.
THANK YOU LETTERS
Miss Norsk Høstfest scholarship recipients are required to write thank you letters. Recipient will receive notice of whom the thank you letter should be addressed and instructions in regards to content, formatting, and how/where to submit the letter. Since Norsk Høstfest Association will keep a copy of these letters on file, letters should be sent to Norsk Høstfest Association / Att: Miss Norsk Høstfest / PO Box 1347 / Minot ND 58702. Thank you letters will then be forwarded appropriately. Scholarship award will not be issued until a thank you letter has been received.
FAILURE OF DUTIES
At time of awarding, if recipient has not met the criteria as outlined above and on the award letter, the recipient must meet with Norsk Høstfest Association to discuss probationary terms to receive payment. Failure to complete duties as Miss Norsk Høstfest or by not enrolling in a college, scholarship will be rescinded.
