John D. Johnson grew up surrounded by farming and ranching, learning the ‘ins and outs’ of agriculture at the grass roots level. That upbringing helped prepare him to become the leader of one of the world’s largest aricultural-focused businesses, CHS (formerly Cenex and Harvest States).
