Rachael Koppendrayer Art creates colored pencil masterpiece that are inspired by her home state of Minnesota and her Swedish heritage. Rachael is an artist, illustrator, writer, and lover of stories. She was raised on a small dairy farm in Sauk Centre, Minnesota that her great-grandfather established when he emigrated from Sweden.
Rachael is a multi-talented artist, illustrator, and writer who beautifully captures the essence of nature and animals with a little Scandinavian twist. The ‘Dala Horse Reflection’ is her most popular drawing. You’ll find her original Scandinavian artwork, prints, and cards available for purchase at the festival this year.
Celebrate Norwegian heritage at The Norway Dakota Company where you’ll find all kinds of Scandinavian-inspired items such as candles, candy, collectible pins, flags, hats, towels, bags, and so much more. They will even have heritage pet bowls and bandanas for your furry friends! All designs are personally created so they are one of a kind and can’t be found anywhere else. Clothing is embroidered in contrast to the typical screen print designs.
